Printing

The Albion College Innovation Lab provides photo and poster printing services for students, faculty, and staff.

To request a project, fill out the Printing Request Form and include the document (PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG), as well as an account number or FOAPAL for billing. Personal projects for staff and faculty will require payment at the accounting office.

Please note:

  • All requests submitted to the lab must be submitted at least 2 full business days in advance of deadlines. A $5 rush fee will be applied to any orders requested to be done in a shorter timeframe.
  • Large requests should be sent to area vendors for completion instead of submitted to the lab.

Printing Request Form

Cardstock

Cardstock prints will be done on a Kyocera printer and is charged per whole sheet. All cardstock trimming must be done by the requestor.  

8.5”x11” cardstock – $.25 / page 
11”x17” cardstock – $.50 / page

Photos

The Canon Pixma Pro 100 can print up to 11×17" photo-quality color prints. This printer is used for smaller quantity photo printing. 

All prints on this printer are done on glossy photo paper. 

4×6" prints – $1.00/each 
5×7" prints – $1.00/each 
8.5×11" – $2.00/each 
11×17" – $3.00/each 

Any image within these sizes may be printed on the Pixma Pro, but photos are charged by the size of sheet printed rather than image size. All poster or photo trimming must be done by the requestor if requesting a size different from a page size listed above.

Posters

The large format poster printer produces high quality color prints. This printer can be used for poster printing, banners and much more. 

Please refer to our Printing Guidelines when filling out the Print Request Form. 

We stock paper rolls of 24”, 36”, and 42” posters. The poster printer does offer borderless printing assuming one of your dimensions matches the width of the paper roll. Otherwise, the poster will have a border. All poster or photo trimming must be done by the requestor. 

There are three types of paper: 

Basic Coated (matte finish paper – best for a draft print and posters that will be quickly discarded or just used once). 

  • Heavy Weight Coated (matte finish paper – works well for text posters).
  • Satin (slightly shiny paper that is good for posters with text and images). 

Poster Printing Prices

24″ roll 

  • Basic Coated Paper – $8.00/per ft.
  • Heavy Weight Coated Paper – $8.50/per ft.
  • Satin – $9.50/per ft. 

36″ roll 

  • Basic Coated Paper – $10.50/per ft.
  • Heavy Weight Coated – $11.00/per ft.
  • Satin Paper – $12.00/per ft. 

42″ roll 

  • Basic Coated Paper – $12.50/per ft.
  • Heavy Weight Coated – $13.00/per ft.
  • Satin – $14.00/per ft. 

Please note that all posters will be charged to the nearest half foot.

Stickers

The Innovation Lab offers a sticker printing service on matter vinyl sticker paper at $3 per page. 

Send a JPG, JPEG or PNG image to printing@albion.edu. Include the number of stickers and the size requested. We will fit as many stickers as we can on a 8.5×11″ sheet.
