3D Printing

Albion College’s Innovation Lab offers affordable FDM (fused deposition modeling) 3D printing services for students, faculty, and staff. Prints can be requested for classroom projects, tools, integrations, research, or entertainment purposes.

Prior to starting your 3D print journey in the Innovation Lab, please read through the 3D Printing User Agreement.

Printers and Materials:

The Lab has a Bambu Lab P2S + 3 Ultimaker 3D printers that exclusively use PLA (polylactic acid) filament. Material colors currently available for the P2S can be seen here.

Cost: 

$0.15 per gram of material used in printing (minimum charge: $1.00)
